The site is under construction, bits will be added from time to time, as the mood takes me. My aim is to share some of the information that has come my way during my attempts to research my family roots and the places they lived in. I also have an interest in the history of the area where I live (Newbury, Berks) and so snippets from this area may also appear though these are more likely to find a home at www.newburyhistory.org.uk. Buckinghamshire - Owners of Land, 1873 a list of everyone who owned an acre of land in Buckinghamshire Lists of Inhabitants of Kirtlington, Oxfordshire, 1723 & 1753 browsing through manorial records can sometimes turn up gems.
